Sugar Cookies!

Happy New Year!! We had all kinds of fun events to attend this Holiday season. We went to Will's Christmas concert. We had a blast at the annual Village School Holiday Festival decorating cookies, buying presents for eachother, making crafts and visiting with Santa. We froze, but enjoyed the annual Christmas in the Village which is a huge Christmas festival in our downtown where the entire village is transformed into a Christmas wonderland with free food, crafts for the kids, wagon rides, caroling and so much more. We tried to go the the Ward Christmas party but it ended up being cancelled twice. The first time because of a major power outage that left most of New Hampshire without power for 3 days and the second time because of a major snow storm. We spent Christmas Eve with Sean's sister Christa and her family along with our friends the Melbys. We spent a fabulous, quiet Christmas at home enjoying eachother and the magic and excitement of Christmas morning with young children. Then we spent New Years Eve up north with our friends, the Bendixsens. The kids played hard until they crashed at about 11pm. Sean and Owen set off fireworks in negative 30degree winter wind gusts (fun to watch from inside) Then we played games, ate too much and partied until 1am! Fun Times!

We also rang in the New Year with the purchase of a 2007 Toyota Sienna XLE! It was an unexpected purchase for us as we were planning on waiting a few more months. But the end of the year deal we got was NOT to be passed up! We are thrilled that the old Electra mobile has finally been upgraded! All in all 2008 ended well for us. We feel extremely blessed in so many ways!
